Titus Ahrens
A dedicated relationship builder, experienced college coach, and passionate community leader, Coach Ahrens brings a proven track record of developing players on and off the court. With years of experience across collegiate programs and elite AAU circuits, he is committed to helping student-athletes reach their full potential—both in basketball and in life.
Most recently, he served as an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Houghton University, where he played a key role in one of the most successful stretches in program history. In just two seasons, the team achieved its first conference tournament appearances at the Division III level, secured its first winning regular season in 30 years, and earned a berth in the 2025 National Tournament—the program’s first in three decades. As lead assistant, he led advanced scouting, strategic game planning, and player organization, helping increase the team’s win total by 160%. During his tenure, he also coached multiple all-conference players and directed a summer basketball camp hosting over 200 athletes.
Beyond the college game, he is the founder of Elevate Basketball Training & AAU, a program built to serve over 100 athletes from across a dozen schools while mentoring and overseeing a staff of 17 coaches. His ability to build systems and develop talent has made a lasting impact throughout the region.
Previously, he spent six years with Full Package Athletics AAU in Chicago as Assistant Director and Head Coach. There, he helped grow the program from 50 to over 200 athletes, coached more than 2,500 games, and led teams to major championships, including a Prep Hoops Region title. His player development résumé includes coaching one NBA player (Matas Buzelis, Chicago Bulls) and over 70 collegiate athletes, including 12 at the Division I level.
His collegiate coaching experience also includes assistant roles at Trinity Christian College and Judson University, where he contributed to all aspects of program success—from recruiting and player development to game preparation and operations. At Judson, he served as recruiting coordinator and helped lead a team recognized with the CCAC Champions of Character award.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Purdue University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Houghton University.
Driven by his faith in Jesus Christ and a passion for mentorship, development, and excellence, Ahrens is committed to building a program that prepares athletes for success at the next level—and beyond.
